Content we don't allow on our network.

HOSTNEED does not host the following categories of websites or applications. This list exists to protect our network, our clients, and the legal integrity of the platform.

Betting, gambling, and lottery related websites
Adult content, pornography, and adult streaming
Phishing, spoofing, and impersonation websites
Malware, ransomware, and exploit distribution
DDoS tools, brute-force utilities, and hacking kits
Heavy media streaming, video tubes, and IPTV
Copyright-infringing file storage and distribution
Illegal marketplaces and grey-area financial services
Violation of this policy results in immediate suspension or termination, with no refund of any kind. If you're not sure whether your project falls under any of these categories, contact us before signing up. We'll give you a straight answer.

Everything else, section by section.

These are the rules that apply across every plan, every environment, and every service we offer. Take a few minutes to read through them — they matter.

01
Acceptance of Terms

By signing up, purchasing any plan, or using any service provided by HOSTNEED, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

If you are entering this agreement on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

02
Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your client area login and any credentials issued for control panels or hosting services.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Any abuse, illegal activity, or resource misuse originating from your account is treated as your responsibility.

03
Service Usage & Limits

HOSTNEED provides hosting, domain registration, and related services on shared, semi-dedicated, and dedicated environments. Each environment has resource limits — CPU, RAM, disk, and bandwidth — designed to guarantee fair access for all clients.

Sustained usage above the limits of your plan may result in temporary throttling, or a requirement to upgrade to a plan that fits your workload.

Storage must be used for website-related files and databases. It must not be used as a personal cloud drive, backup vault, or file-sharing service.

04
Backup Policy

HOSTNEED performs scheduled automated backups of hosting accounts. These backups exist as a recovery safety net and are not a substitute for your own backup strategy.

Clients are strongly encouraged to maintain their own local or remote backups of critical data. HOSTNEED cannot guarantee data recovery in every scenario.

Backup retention varies by plan and environment. Specific retention details are available on request from our support team.

05
Payment, Renewal & Late Fee

Invoices are generated before the service renewal date. It is your responsibility to ensure renewal payment is made on time.

If payment is not received by the due date, a late fee of 20% is added to the outstanding invoice amount. This late fee is applied once the invoice grace period ends and is not refundable or waivable.

If payment is not received after the late fee has been applied, services may be suspended. Accounts left unpaid for extended periods may be terminated, and associated data deleted.

HOSTNEED does not auto-charge cards or accounts without explicit consent. Renewal is the client's responsibility.

06
Refunds & Cancellations

HOSTNEED offers a 3-day refund window on eligible hosting plans. The full details — including the 15% refund charge, non-refundable items, and processing time — are documented on our Refund Policy page.

Refund requests submitted after 3 calendar days from the original purchase are not eligible for a refund.

Domain registrations, domain transfers, domain renewals, and add-on services are non-refundable once processed, in line with ICANN and registry policy.

Cancellation of a service stops future renewals. It does not trigger a refund of prior payments unless the account falls within the applicable 3-day refund window.

07
Account Verification

Clients must provide accurate information during signup — real name, working email, valid phone number, and a correct billing address.

Accounts registered with false information, disposable identities, or techniques designed to mask the real owner may be suspended or terminated without refund.

For higher-value orders, HOSTNEED may request additional verification before provisioning services. This is done to protect both parties and to keep our network clean.

08
Uptime & Service Availability

HOSTNEED targets a 99.9% monthly uptime for hosting services. Our infrastructure is monitored continuously and incidents are addressed by our engineering team.

Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance whenever possible. Emergency maintenance may be performed without prior notice when required to protect the integrity of the platform.

Uptime targets do not cover disruptions caused by client-side issues, third-party networks, or force majeure events.

09
Suspension & Termination

HOSTNEED reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, hosts prohibited content, or engages in activity that harms the platform or other clients.

In cases of severe violation — such as hosting illegal content or launching attacks from our network — suspension may be immediate and without prior warning.

Termination for violation does not qualify for a refund, regardless of the remaining service period.

10
Changes to These Terms

HOSTNEED may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal obligations, or industry standards.

Updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Talk to us before you commit.

If any part of these terms is unclear, or you want to confirm whether your specific use case is allowed — reach out. We'd rather answer a question upfront than deal with a problem later.
